"Destination: Imagination" gala event

Mark your calendars for the museum's fourth annual,
"Destination: Imagination" gala event that will be held at the Oak
Lawn Hilton on Saturday, April 12, 2008.

This promises to be an exciting
event. We'll have more information in next month's newsletter
and invitations will be mailed out within the next few weeks.

April Events

Circle time is an interactive time where parents and children participate in educational activities together! Staff and volunteers lead a variety of activities like singing songs, using large motor skills, and fingerplays.

April 3rd Circle Time, 11:00-11:30.

April 5th Do a map reading activity

April 9th-12th National Young Peoples Poetry Week. We will be reading poetry

April 12th- Help support the Museum by attending the annual Gala fundraiser.  Call the museum for ticket information.

April 17th Circle Time 11:00-11:30

April 16th-19th Celebrate “The week of the young child”. All activities will have a self- esteem theme. Give your child the opportunity to experience the many activities the museum has to offer.

April 19th - Museum will be closed to the public from 10:00am-12:00pm

April 23rd –26th-Create some earth friendly crafts
We will be making nylon grass caterpillars.
