Join us for "The Museum Doctor is in" Program.   Advocate Hope Children's Hospital staff has partnering with  the museum  to present a series of educational topics that teach children about their bodies and promote wellness.  A visiting Senior  pediatric resident doctor leads these activities, and gives children  a great opportunity to learn from and interact with a pediatrician in a welcoming and positive, non- medical and non-intimidating environment.  This program takes place around  11:00 on the second floor.  It is available to all visitors, no registration is necessary.  .

This second annual event is for registered Cub Scout Tiger Cubs.  Proof of charter organization needs to be provided at the time of registration. Units will have to fill out the Children’s Museum’s field trip form and place a 25% non-refundable deposit to hold a spot.  Space will be limited.  PLEASE pre-register as soon as possible so we can provide enough supplies.

Enjoy an evening working on advancements and electives that will correlate with museum exhibits.  We have done all of the work for you.  Approximately 10 stations will be set up for leaders and scouts to work at.   

The cost for the evening is $5.00 per person, scout, leader, and sibling. 

Siblings are more than welcome to come along and play at the exhibits, but they must have a separate adult to chaperone them.  This should be someone other than the leaders or parents working with their scout.  Siblings will not be allowed to participate in the scouting activities or crafts.  This event is for registered Tiger Cubs.

Free parking will be available on the top floor of the municipal parking lot.
