Make a Donation

The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Our earned revenue (admissions, memberships, and store sales) will only account for around 60% of our annual operating budget.  We rely on the financial support of individuals and businesses to help us keep our admission prices affordable.  You can help today by making a donation.  Just click the "Donate Now" button on the left to get started.

The Wish List

The Children's Museum is now open but there are still some items we continue to need.  These items are listed below.  If you can help us out, please call us at (708) 423-6709.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Golf Balls (on-going)
Lego pieces for the race track
AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Carpet Cleaner
Rubbermaid containers (large clear ones with lids)
Scrap wood (no nails or other dangers - also unpainted)
PVC pipes and connectors
Animal X-rays
Costumes for our theater (ballet shoes, recital outfits, hat, crowns, Halloween costumes, etc.)
Play money
Musical instruments (toy and real will be considered)
Duplo cars for the race track
Nails and screws for the workshop
 

Capital One Partnership

The Children's Museum now has a new program through a partnership with Capital One.  The museum receives 2% on gas and grocery purchases, 1% on all other purchases, plus the museum receives a $50 donation after your initial purchase.  It's a great way to support the museum.
