Fall Fun Fest! October 2, 2010!

The inevitable is happening, Summer is ending and Fall is on its way. At the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn, we are welcoming the season change because that means it’s time for one of the premier festivals in the Chicago Southland. We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the annual Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, October 2nd from 9am to 2pm. All are welcome to attend and have fun!

Every year this event grows and grows. Last year the Fall Fun Fest welcomed over 1,500 guests and visitors.  “This event has truly become a staple in the community,” says Executive Director, Adam Woodworth, “people start to ask about it long before Summer is even over”.

 
Why is this event such a big hit? Because the Children’s Museum provides families with entertainment, activities, raffles, and great food. The 2010 Fall Fun Fest will have Pumpkin Decorating, Trackless Train Rides, Special Entertainment, and so much more!

Museum Closed September 13-17

The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn will be closed from September 13-17 for a much needed rest.  During that time, staff and volunteers will be working to give the museum a fresh sparkle.  We look forward to seeing you when we reopen on Saturday, September 18.
