Hold a Scout field trip at the Museum!
Looking for a fun way to earn some of your achievements, petals, electives and badges? Contact us to book your Scout field trip at the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn. With our exhibits, you can help your tigers, wolves, daisies and brownie scouts achieve their advancements.
How it works
Group Orientation - Our staff will provide your scouts with a group orientation at the beginning of your field trip.
Museum Admission - Explore the Museum for up to 2 hours and participate in any regular Museum programming during your visit.
Craft or Activity - Our staff will guide your scouts through an agreed upon pre-planned craft or activity. Additional charges may apply.
Please visit our Museum Rental page for current pricing.
$10 PER SCOUT - For every six scouts attending, you get free Museum admission for ONE leader.
For Tiger Cubs, we follow the Boy Scout Policy of a one adult to one Tiger Scout ratio meaning that with your field trip, you should be booking one adult per scout. You still get one free adult for every 6 scouts.
SIBLINGS & PARENTS: $7 per person - Siblings who want to participate in the planned craft/activity can do so for an additional $3 or more contingent upon the pre-planned craft or activity. At the time of registration, please inform us of the number of extra siblings that will be attending.
PATCH: $3 - Scouts can purchase a special Museum patch for an additional $3.
All scout units must pre-register for this experience. For more information and to register, please call Jessica Saucedo at (708) 423-6709 and when you get the recording press 206.
