Sunday, April 2, 2017
10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm (pick one) Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Disabilities! *This egg hunt is for those children who cannot successfully participate in the community Easter Egg hunts and who need some assistance. This event is designed for your child to participate at his or her own pace. We’ll have some games, food, crafts and other activities going on, like Erin Yanz from Nature’s Creatures! Plus, we’ll have a special visit from the Easter Bunny! There is no fee to attend but you must RSVP because space is limited. Check out the FAQ below for Frequently Asked Questions. |

For Event AttendeesFAQQ: My child attends community egg hunts with no issues, can he/she attend this event?
A: If your child is able to participate in a community egg hunt, this event would not be appropriate. Typically, this event sees more children with physical disabilities or who are on the spectrum to the extent that they really can't participate in the community egg hunts. If you are unsure, please feel free to call us at (708) 423-6709 ext 206. Q: My child has severely impaired vision or is blind, can she participate? A: Yes! We have "beeper eggs" for children who are visually impaired. Q: Can we attend both sessions? A: We want to give as many children the opportunity to participate in this event as possible. Please register for just one session. Q: Can siblings attend? A: Yes! We encourage siblings to participate with their brother or sister in this slower paced event, and even to assist their brother or sister when appropriate. Q: Can extended family attend? A: Due to our limited registration availability, we ask that your registration be limited to your immediate family and grandparents. Q: Where can we park? A: Because this event is on Sunday, you can park anywhere in the parking garage without the worry of getting a ticket, including the first floor. |
