WHAT CAN WE EXPECT? IS THERE A FORMAL PROGRAM?
The Hootenanny Hoedown is a fun, social event. The dinner is buffet style so you can eat anytime you like between 7:30pm-9:00pm. The SODA band will be performing and we'll have line dancing, mechanical bull riding, silent auctions, raffles, bag games and more. There is no formal program at the event, other than to have fun!
WHERE DOES THE MONEY RAISED GO?
The funds raised at this event help support a variety of museum initiatives including our Museums For All program, Blue Star Program for military families, the Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Disabilities, art supplies for the artroom, new animals for the vet area, new costumes for the theater, and quarterly family respite nights, just to name a few of things that are supported through this fundraiser.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Tickets include a delicious meal from Uncle Bub's BBQ that includes hand pulled pork, black angus burgers, boneless chicken breast and beyond burgers, mac & cheese, green beans and a mashed potato bar. Uncle Bubs will have their pit crew there doing the grilling! We have A Sweet Girl coming with a variety of delicious cupcakes for dessert. Entertainment for the evening is the SODA band so there will be dancing and line dancing. If you are daring, give the mechanical bull a try! We'll also have a variety of other game activities for you to participate it. Beer, wine, soda, sweet tea, lemonade and coffee are included with your ticket purchase.
