No. Unless otherwise noted, Members-Only events are exclusive to families who purchased their membership directly from the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn.

Partners in Play (PIP) is a reciprocal membership program. This partnership between the Children's Museum in Oak Lawn and KidsWork focuses on personalized service, flexibility for families, and shared investment in child development through play.

We believe reciprocal memberships offer powerful benefits to families, including:

Partners in Play represents more than a membership—it reflects a shared commitment in giving children the extended opportunities to imagine, explore, and thrive.

Purchasing a PIP membership means that you are a member of the museum where you purchased it. This is known as your "Home" museum. Your membership grants you access to other children’s museums that belong to the PIP agreement, but you are not considered a member of those other museums. Your information is only available at your home museum and is not shared among PIP partner museums.

Each membership level includes one-time guest passes that allow you to bring additional visitors. These passes do not roll over and must be used within the membership year.

No. However, we can upgrade your membership to a new membership level at any time.

You can change one name, one time throughout your membership year at no charge. There is a $20 charge for any additional name changes within your membership year.

If you lose your card, we are happy to print you a new one. The first replacement is free! The second one, and beyond, will result in a $20 fee.

Yes! If you love the museum so much that you want to become a member, we are happy to apply what you paid for admission to the price of a membership on the same day as your visit (at the front desk – cannot be done online).

A photo ID is required along with your membership card to ensure security and prevent unauthorized use.
