During his two years as a volunteer, Joe jumped in wherever he was needed. He says that his favorite part of volunteering for the Museum was the appreciation the staff showed for his help.
Now that Joe is part of the floor staff, he helps maintain cleanliness and assures the safety of all guests.
“The most rewarding part of working at the Museum,” Joe explains, “is seeing all the kids having a good time and laughing.”
Aside from his outstanding work at the Museum, Joe continues to give back to the town he’s lived in his entire life. For 20 years, he has actively participated in community theater, and has taught a second grade program at St. Gerald’s for 12 years.
Joe is married, has one daughter, and is a fan of the Cubs, Blackhawks and Green Bay Packers.
